Datuk Wira (Dr) Nicholas Yap is the Founder and Group Managing Director of The Roof Realty, with over 18 years of experience in real estate industry.

Nicholas started the company in 2009 with a handful of real estate negotiators. He had brought a wealth of experience into the team, focusing on service excellence and team synergy, continually striving to achieve greater milestones. In 2015, TRR had a breakthrough with a strong team of 320 negotiators achieving total Gross Development Value of RM618million.

Every year since then, the TRR Team had leaped higher in success year on year. Often regarded by his team as a Leader 'who puts people first', Nicholas has always believed that the Team is the most important aspect of a company. Only with the right team and culture in place, would a company flourish with excellence.

Belief, culture and constant learning - these are the deeply rooted values he wishes to share and inculcate with team members around him. The industry goes through an ever-changing landscape, Nicholas constantly prepares the TRR family to adapt with clear directions, to stay ahead as a key player in real estate. As of today, TRR has over 2,800 negotiators and counting!

As the Project Director of The Roof Realty, Datin Wira Angel has been the backbone of many sell-out property projects taken up by TRR. Possessing a strong understanding to the industry's landscape and current market trend, Angel has adeptly curated sales and marketing campaigns for a diverse range of projects - both luxury and medium range.

Some notable projects include See Hoy Chan developments in Uptown and Ara Damansara, Empire Group's duplex suite and retail shops, Arte Plus by Numestro and GD Holding's Vision City.

Angel attributes the achievements to the TRR family - a group of professional, agile and supportive team members. Instead of focusing on getting the best projects, focus on building the best team, and naturally the projects will be marketed with the best effort. This became more evident in 2016, when TRR manage to transact a total of RM143million GDV for 2 See Hoy Chan's projects in just 6 months. The initiative went on to achieve RM600million over span of 18 months.

Currently TRR is engaged with developers across Malaysia, with project sales on-going mainly in KL City Centre, Klang Valley, Johor, Penang and Melaka.
